Indications
Sibilla is indicated for hormonal contraception in women of reproductive age. This product is an oral contraceptive method that works by inhibiting ovulation, altering cervical mucus, and modifying the endometrium, which prevents the implantation of the fertilized egg. Additionally, it can be used in the treatment of menstrual disorders, such as dysmenorrhea or irregular menstrual cycles, and in the management of conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome. Its use must be evaluated and supervised by a physician, who will determine the suitability of the treatment according to the patient's medical history and specific needs.
Composition
Each tablet contains: 2 mg of Dienogest and 0.03 mg of Ethinylestradiol, in addition to excipients that facilitate its formulation and administration.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in women with a history of venous or arterial thrombosis, cardiovascular disease, breast or genital organ cancer, undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, and in those who have hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of hypertension, diabetes, liver diseases, or clotting disorders. In addition, it is important to have regular medical check-ups to evaluate tolerance to the treatment and the patient's general health.
