Indications
Seroquel (Quetiapine) is indicated for the treatment of psychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depressive episodes associated with bipolar disorder. Quetiapine acts as an atypical antipsychotic, modulating neurotransmitter activity in the brain, which helps stabilize mood and reduce psychotic symptoms. This medication is used in adults and, in some cases, in adolescents older than 13 years under strict medical supervision.
Composition
Each Seroquel tablet contains 25 mg of quetiapine as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate the formulation and release of the medication.
Contraindications
Seroquel is not recommended for use in patients with known hypersensitivity to quetiapine or any of the excipients in the formulation. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of manic episodes related to the use of antipsychotics or who are being treated with certain medications that can cause cardiac arrhythmias.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, seizure disorders, or those who consume alcohol or drugs that affect the central nervous system. It is important to monitor the patient's blood pressure and weight during treatment. It is also recommended to evaluate liver and kidney function before initiating therapy.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
