Indications

Seroquel is indicated for the treatment of psychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. In patients with schizophrenia, Seroquel helps alleviate symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, and disorganized thinking. In the case of bipolar disorder, Seroquel is used for both manic and depressive episodes, contributing to mood stability. Quetiapine works by modulating neurotransmitter activity in the brain, which can result in an improvement in the patient's mental and functional state. Composition

Each Seroquel tablet contains 100 mg of quetiapine as the active ingredient. Additionally, it may contain excipients such as lactose, starch, and other inactive components used in tablet formulation.

Contraindications

Seroquel should not be administered to patients with known hypersensitivity to quetiapine or any other component of the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of severe adverse reactions to antipsychotics.
