Indications
Sensibit-Rin is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis in adults and children over 12 years of age. This medication combines the decongestant action of phenylephrine with the antihistamine properties of loratadine, which helps to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, nasal and eye itching, and runny nose. Additionally, it is useful in the management of other allergic disorders where nasal congestion is a predominant symptom.
Composition
Each 5 mL of the solution contains:
- Phenylephrine: 5 mg
- Loratadine: 5 mg
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to any of its components, as well as in patients with severe cardiovascular diseases, uncontrolled hypertension, hyperthyroidism, and in those taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or within 14 days after their discontinuation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of hypertension, heart disease, diabetes mellitus, narrow-angle glaucoma, and in those with urinary retention. Likewise, it is recommended to avoid administration in combination with other products containing phenylephrine or loratadine to prevent adverse interactions.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
