Indications

Senokot Forte is indicated for the treatment of occasional constipation. Its formulation with sennosides A-B acts as a stimulant laxative, promoting bowel movement and facilitating evacuation. It is suitable for adults and children over 12 years of age. It is recommended for use in cases of constipation, which may be caused by an inadequate diet, sedentary lifestyle, or changes in bowel habits. It is important to follow the recommendations of a healthcare professional regarding the duration of treatment and the appropriate dose.

Composition

Each tablet of Senokot Forte contains 17.2 mg of sennosides A-B as an active ingredient. Excipients include lactose, corn starch, and other inactive components that facilitate the formulation of the medication.

Contraindications

Senokot Forte is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to sennosides or any other component of the formula. It should not be used in cases of intestinal obstruction, acute appendicitis, or inflammatory bowel diseases. Its use in pregnant or breastfeeding women should be evaluated by a physician.

Precautions
