Indications
Seloken Zok is indicated for the treatment of arterial hypertension, as well as for the prevention of angina pectoris episodes. It is also used in the management of chronic heart failure and in the reduction of mortality in patients with acute myocardial infarction. This drug works by blocking beta-adrenergic receptors, which results in a decrease in heart rate and blood pressure. Regular monitoring of blood pressure and heart rate is recommended during treatment.
Composition
Each Seloken Zok tablet contains 95 mg of metoprolol as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that allow for the formulation of the medicine.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to metoprolol or any of the excipients. It should not be administered in cases of severe bradycardia, second- or third-degree heart block, cardiogenic shock, or decompensated heart failure. Caution should be exercised in patients with bronchial asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with pre-existing cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism, or during anesthesia. In elderly patients, the possibility of increased sensitivity to the effects of metoprolol should be considered. It is important to adjust the dose according to the patient's clinical response.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
