Indications
Seloken Zok is indicated for the treatment of high blood pressure, angina pectoris, and heart failure. This medication acts as a selective beta-blocker, decreasing heart rate and blood pressure, which can help reduce the risk of cardiovascular events. Additionally, it is used in the management of certain cardiac arrhythmias and in the prevention of migraines. It is important that its use is supervised by a doctor, who will determine the appropriate dose and treatment duration based on the patient's individual conditions.
Composition
Each Seloken Zok tablet contains 95 mg of metoprolol, as well as excipients that facilitate the formulation and absorption of the medication.
Contraindications
Seloken Zok is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to metoprolol or any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of severe bradycardia, second or third-degree atrioventricular block, decompensated heart failure, and bronchial asthma or severe uncontrolled chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Seloken Zok to patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency, diabetes mellitus, or those scheduled for major surgery. It is advisable to monitor blood pressure and heart rate during treatment. In case of adverse effects, a doctor should be consulted immediately.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place and out of reach of children. Avoid exposure to direct light and humidity.
