Indications
Sedalmerck Max is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate pain, such as headache, muscle pain, menstrual pain, and dental pain. It is also used to reduce fever in various conditions. The combination of paracetamol and caffeine enhances the analgesic effect of paracetamol, providing more effective relief in acute pain situations. This medication is suitable for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age and should be used according to the instructions of a doctor or healthcare professional.
Composition
Each Sedalmerck Max tablet contains 650 mg of paracetamol and 65 mg of caffeine as active ingredients. It also contains excipients that facilitate the formulation and stability of the product.
Contraindications
Sedalmerck Max is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of severe liver failure and in patients who consume excessive alcohol. Likewise, its use is not recommended in individuals suffering from severe cardiovascular diseases or who are being treated with other medications containing paracetamol.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with liver or kidney diseases or in those taking other medications. It is important not to exceed the recommended dose, as paracetamol can cause liver damage at high doses. It is recommended to consult a doctor before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
