Indications

Sedalmerck is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of conditions associated with colds and allergies, including fever, mild to moderate pain, nasal congestion, and other related symptoms. The combination of Paracetamol, Caffeine, and Phenylephrine allows for the reduction of fever and pain relief, as well as decongestion of the airways. This medication is useful in cases of:

  • Headaches
  • Muscle aches
  • Sore throat
  • General discomfort associated with colds and flu

Composition

Each Sedalmerck tablet contains:

  • Paracetamol: 500 mg
  • Caffeine: 50 mg
  • Phenylephrine: 5 mg

Contraindications

Sedalmerck should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components, in those with severe liver disease, or in patients taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or who have stopped taking them in the last two weeks. It is also contraindicated in cases of uncontrolled hypertension or severe heart disease.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of liver disease, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, or in those who consume excessive alcohol. Use in children under 12 years of age is not recommended unless directed by a doctor. It is important not to exceed the recommended dose to avoid paracetamol toxicity.

Storage

Store at room temperature, in a dry and cool place, away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
