Indications

Scabisan 5% Cream is indicated for the treatment of scabies and other cutaneous infestations caused by parasites, such as lice. Permethrin acts as an insecticide that affects the nervous system of parasites, causing their death. This medication is applied directly to the affected skin, ensuring adequate coverage to achieve treatment efficacy. Its use is recommended for people with a confirmed diagnosis of scabies, as well as those with lice infestations, following the instructions and treatment duration prescribed by a doctor.

Composition

Each 100 g of Scabisan Cream contains: 5 g of permethrin and excipients necessary for the formulation.

Contraindications

Scabisan Cream is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to permethrin or any component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in children younger than 2 months, as well as in pregnant or breastfeeding women, unless deemed necessary by a doctor.

Precautions

It is important to avoid contact of the medication with eyes, mucous membranes, and open wounds. A preliminary sensitivity test should be performed on a small area of skin before extensive application. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Caution should also be exercised in patients with a history of skin diseases or conditions that may compromise skin integrity.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C, in a dry place away from sources of light. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
