Indications
Salofalk (Mesalazine) is indicated for the treatment and control of inflammatory bowel diseases, such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. This medication acts locally in the intestine to reduce inflammation and relieve associated symptoms, such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and rectal bleeding. It is essential to follow the doctor's instructions to ensure treatment effectiveness and adequate symptom monitoring.
Composition
Each suppository contains 1 g of Mesalazine as the active ingredient. It also includes excipients that facilitate product formulation and proper administration.
Contraindications
Salofalk is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Mesalazine or any of the excipients in the formulation. Caution should also be exercised in patients with a history of kidney or liver diseases. Its use is not recommended in individuals with intestinal obstruction or active gastric ulcers.
Precautions
Special care should be taken in patients with a history of allergic reactions to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Patients who experience symptoms of renal toxicity should be closely monitored during treatment with Salofalk. In case of unusual symptoms, it is essential to inform the treating physician.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep the product in its original packaging and protect from direct light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
