Indications

Sal de Uvas Picot is indicated for the relief of heartburn and indigestion. Its formulation, which combines sodium bicarbonate with organic acids such as tartaric and citric acid, helps neutralize excess stomach acid, providing an effervescent effect that aids digestion. This product is useful for the symptomatic treatment of gastrointestinal discomfort associated with hyperacidity, as well as for the management of occasional digestive upset episodes. It can be used in situations of discomfort after consuming foods or drinks that may cause acidity or indigestion.

Composition

Each sachet contains: Sodium bicarbonate, Tartaric acid, Citric acid.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in people with severe kidney disease, uncontrolled hypertension, or conditions that require sodium restriction in the diet. Likewise, it should be avoided in patients with symptoms of appendicitis or in cases of abdominal pain of unknown origin.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, kidney failure, or those undergoing treatment with diuretics. It is advisable not to exceed the recommended dose and to consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen. This product should not be used long-term without medical supervision.
