Indications
Rovartal Nf (Rosuvastatin) is indicated for the reduction of elevated total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia. It is also used to reduce triglyceride levels in patients with combined dyslipidemia and to increase high-density lipoprotein (HDL) levels. Additionally, it is indicated as part of a treatment to prevent cardiovascular events in patients with established cardiovascular disease or in those with multiple risk factors.
Composition
Each Rovartal Nf tablet contains 20 mg of rosuvastatin as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for tablet formulation.
Contraindications
Rovartal Nf is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to rosuvastatin or any of the formula's components. It should not be administered to patients with active liver disease or with elevated transaminase levels exceeding three times the upper limit of normal. It is also contraindicated in pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Precautions
Caution is advised in patients with a history of liver disease, kidney failure, or in those who consume large amounts of alcohol. Furthermore, it should be used with care in patients who are receiving other medications that may interact with rosuvastatin. Regular monitoring of lipid levels and liver function tests is important during treatment.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
