Indications
Ropiconest is indicated for regional anesthesia and analgesia in surgical procedures and acute pain. This medication is commonly used in peripheral nerve blocks and epidural anesthesia to provide pain relief during and after surgery. It can also be used for postoperative pain management in patients who have undergone major surgical procedures where prolonged analgesia is required.
Composition
Each Ropiconest ampoule contains 2 mg/ml of ropivacaine in sterile solution.
Contraindications
Ropiconest is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ropivacaine or other local anesthetics. It is also contraindicated in cases of infection at the injection site and in patients with coagulation disorders or who are on anticoagulant treatment.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiac or respiratory diseases. Furthermore, it is recommended to monitor patients during the administration of Ropiconest, especially those with a history of adverse reactions to local anesthetics. It is important to avoid intravascular injection to prevent systemic toxicity.
Storage
Ropiconest should be stored in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light. The recommended storage temperature is between 15°C and 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
