Indications
Rocainol (Methyl Salicylate/Menthol) is indicated for the temporary relief of muscle and joint pain. It is used in the treatment of conditions such as arthritis, tendinitis, sprains, and muscle strains. This medication works by generating a hot and cold effect on the affected area, which helps reduce inflammation and relieve pain. It may also be useful in treating discomfort from sports injuries and muscle overload.
Composition
Each 100 g of Rocainol contains:
- Methyl salicylate: 30 g
- Menthol: 5 g
- Excipients: q.s.p. 100 g
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be applied to open wounds, mucous membranes, or areas with dermatitis. Its use should also be avoided in patients with asthma or a history of severe allergic reactions to other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Precautions
It is recommended to use Rocainol with caution in people with a history of gastrointestinal problems, as prolonged use of topical products can cause skin irritation. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
