Indications
Ritalin is indicated for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children and adolescents. It is also used in the treatment of narcolepsy. This medication acts on the central nervous system, helping to improve attention, concentration, and reduce impulsivity and hyperactivity in patients diagnosed with ADHD. It is important that its use is supervised by a specialist physician, who will evaluate the need for its use and the adjustment of the appropriate dose.
Composition
Each Ritalin 10 mg tablet contains Methylphenidate as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients that allow for the formulation of the medication. It is essential to review the leaflet to know the complete composition and the characteristics of each of its components.
Contraindications
Ritalin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to methylphenidate or any of the excipients in the formulation.
