Indications
Reumophan is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions, such as low back pain, arthritis, and other muscular disorders. This medication combines the relaxing action of chlorzoxazone with the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect of ketoprofen, providing effective pain relief and reduction of inflammation. It is useful in situations where pain management is required due to injuries, surgeries, or inflammatory conditions.
Composition
Each Reumophan tablet contains:
- Chlorzoxazone - 50 mg
- Ketoprofen - 250 mg
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its components, as well as in those with active peptic ulcers, severe renal insufficiency, severe hepatic insufficiency, and bleeding disorders. Its use is not recommended during the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using this medication in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, kidney or liver problems, and in those taking other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is important to monitor patients over 65 years of age or those with chronic conditions. It is recommended to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
