Indications
Reumophan is indicated for the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal conditions, such as sprains, strains, and lower back pain. It is also used in the management of arthritis and other inflammatory conditions that cause joint pain. The combination of chlorzoxazone, a muscle relaxant, and ketoprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), provides effective symptomatic relief, helping to improve mobility and reduce discomfort in patients.
Composition
Each Reumophan tablet contains:
Chlorzoxazone 250 mg
Ketoprofen 50 mg
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with a history of active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding. It should also be avoided in patients with severe renal or hepatic insufficiency, as well as in those in the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, or renal diseases. It is important to monitor renal and hepatic function in patients receiving prolonged treatment. Likewise, care should be taken when administering in combination with other drugs that may increase the risk of adverse effects.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
