Indications
Retin-A Gel 0.01% is used in the treatment of acne vulgaris and in the therapy of follicular keratosis. It works by promoting cell renewal, which helps to unclog pores and reduce the formation of acne lesions. Additionally, it is indicated for the treatment of photoaging and hyperpigmentation, as it promotes skin regeneration and improves its texture and appearance. Its use must be supervised by a physician, and it is essential to follow the specific instructions for each patient.
Composition
Each 100 g of Retin-A Gel contains: Tretinoin 0.01% as active ingredient. Excipients: benzenecarboxylic acid, propylene glycol, methylparaben, propylparaben, among others.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to tretinoin or to any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in inflammatory or irritated skin conditions, as well as in cases of eczema or dermatitis. Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with sensitive skin or previous allergic reactions. It is suggested to avoid direct sun exposure and the use of irritating or exfoliating products during treatment. It is important not to apply to open wounds or irritated areas. It is recommended to use sunscreen during treatment.
Storage
Store the product at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place and protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
