Indications

Retin A Forte Gel is indicated for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris in patients over 12 years of age. The combination of tretinoin, a retinoid, and clindamycin, an antibiotic, acts synergistically to reduce comedone formation, decrease inflammation, and prevent bacterial proliferation, thus contributing to the improvement of skin condition. This medication is especially effective in reducing inflammatory and non-inflammatory acne lesions, providing a therapeutic response within several weeks. It is essential to follow the doctor's recommendations for proper application and treatment monitoring.

Composition

Each 100 g of gel contains: Tretinoin 0.05 g and Clindamycin 1 g. Excipients: Carbomer, sodium hydroxide, purified water, among others.

Contraindications

Retin A Forte Gel is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components, in those with a history of irritant dermatitis or eczema in the application area, as well as in cases of active viral, fungal, or bacterial skin infections. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without adequate medical supervision.

Precautions

Prolonged sun exposure and the use of products that may irritate the skin, such as exfoliants or strong soaps, should be avoided during treatment. It is advisable to use sunscreen and follow the doctor's instructions regarding frequency and amount of application. In case of severe irritation, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

Storage

Store the product at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
