Indications

Retin A Forte Gel is indicated for the treatment of acne vulgaris in adolescent and adult patients. The combination of tretinoin and clindamycin acts synergistically: tretinoin is a vitamin A derivative that promotes cell renewal and reduces pore obstruction, while clindamycin is an antibiotic that helps decrease inflammation and bacterial proliferation associated with acne. This gel should be applied to clean, dry skin, preferably at night, on the affected areas, following the instructions of the treating physician.

Composition

Each 100 g of gel contains: Tretinoin 0.025 g and Clindamycin 1 g. Excipients: Carbomer gel, ethanol, purified water, among others.

Contraindications

Retin A Forte Gel is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in patients with a history of irritant dermatitis or eczema in the areas to be treated.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with sensitive skin or who are using other topical products that may cause irritation. Sun exposure and the use of tanning beds should be avoided during treatment, as well as the use of products containing alcohol or strong exfoliants. Do not apply to open wounds or mucous membranes. Pregnant or breastfeeding women are advised to consult their doctor before using this product.

Storage

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
