Indications
Retin-A Cream 0.1% is indicated for the treatment of acne vulgaris in patients with inflammatory and non-inflammatory lesions. Tretinoin, its active ingredient, works by promoting cell renewal and unclogging pores, which contributes to the reduction of acne lesions. Additionally, it is used to treat signs of photoaging, such as fine wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin texture. It is important that the medication be used under the supervision of a doctor to ensure its correct application and monitoring of results.
Composition
Each 100 g of Retin-A Cream contains: 0.1 g of Tretinoin. Excipients: purified water, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, glycerin, among others.
Contraindications
Retin-A Cream is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to tretinoin or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with eczema or dermatitis, nor in pregnant or breastfeeding women, unless indicated by a doctor.
Precautions
Excessive exposure to sun and sources of ultraviolet radiation should be avoided during treatment. It is recommended to use sunscreen and limit sun exposure. Patients should be informed about the possibility of skin irritation, redness, or peeling, especially at the beginning of treatment. Regular medical follow-up is important during the use of this medication.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and protect from light.
