Indications
Resvelare (Desvenlafaxine) is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorders in adults. It can also be used in the management of generalized anxiety disorders. Its action is based on the inhibition of serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake, which contributes to improving mood and reducing symptoms associated with depression and anxiety. It is recommended that its use be carried out under strict medical supervision, assessing the patient's response to treatment and adjusting the dose as necessary.
Composition
Each Resvelare tablet contains 100 mg of desvenlafaxine as an active ingredient. Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and other inactive excipients.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to desvenlafaxine or any component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or in those with a history of severe cardiovascular problems.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of hypertension, liver or kidney problems, as well as in those who experience manic or hypomanic episodes. It is important to monitor blood pressure during treatment. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before starting treatment.
Storage
Keep the medication in its original packaging, at room temperature (between 15 and 30 °C), in a dry place and out of reach of children.
