Indications
Relpax is indicated for the acute treatment of migraine in adults. This medication acts as a selective serotonin receptor agonist (5-HT1B and 5-HT1D), which helps relieve headache and symptoms associated with migraine, such as nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound. It is recommended to use it at the onset of migraine symptoms for greater effectiveness. It is not recommended for the prevention of migraine attacks.
Composition
Each Relpax tablet contains 80 mg of eletriptan as the active ingredient. Excipients include lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, starch, among others.
Contraindications
Relpax is contraindicated in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, including myocardial infarction, unstable angina pectoris, stroke, or transient ischemic attack. It is also contraindicated in patients with uncontrolled hypertension and in those who are hypersensitive to eletriptan or any of the components of the formula.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular risk factors, as well as in those with a history of seizures. Concomitant use of Relpax with other serotonin receptor agonists or with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) is not recommended. Liver function should be evaluated before starting treatment and the dose adjusted if necessary.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
