Redoxon Forte is a dietary supplement indicated for the prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiencies in situations of increased demand, such as infections, physical or emotional stress, and during periods of convalescence. This product can be useful in strengthening the immune system, contributing to the body's defense. In addition, its use is suggested in situations of malnutrition, where vitamin C supplementation is required. Vitamin C is essential for collagen formation, iron absorption, and maintaining the health of blood vessels, skin, and connective tissues.
Composition
Each effervescent tablet contains 2 g of ascorbic acid (vitamin C).
Contraindications
This product is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ascorbic acid or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of oxalate kidney stones, as excessive consumption of vitamin C can increase the risk of forming these stones.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in its use in patients with kidney disorders, as well as in those undergoing anticoagulant treatment, as vitamin C can interfere with the action of these medications. Likewise, it is advisable not to exceed the recommended dose and to consult a doctor before starting its use during pregnancy or lactation.
