Indications
Redevant is indicated for the treatment of primary or mixed hypercholesterolemia, as well as dyslipidemia in patients requiring a reduction in LDL cholesterol. It is used as an adjunct to diet in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, with the aim of reducing the risk of cardiovascular events. It is also indicated for the treatment of hypertriglyceridemia in combination with other lipid-lowering agents.
Composition
Each Redevant tablet contains 2 mg of pitavastatin as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.
Contraindications
Redevant is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pitavastatin or any component of the formulation. It should not be administered to patients with active liver disease or those with persistent elevations of liver transaminases. Its use is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions
Precautions should be taken in patients with a history of liver disease, excessive alcohol consumption, or who have risk factors for muscle disease, as it may increase the risk of myopathy. Liver function tests are recommended before starting treatment and during treatment. Likewise, care should be taken with concomitant use with other medications that may increase the risk of muscle toxicity.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
