Indications
Radiance is indicated for contraception in women of childbearing age. Additionally, it can be used for the treatment of premenstrual syndrome and dysmenorrhea. This medication can also help regulate irregular menstrual cycles and decrease the risk of ovarian cysts. The combination of drospirenone and ethinylestradiol primarily works by inhibiting ovulation, altering cervical mucus, and modifying the endometrium, which reduces the likelihood of implantation of a fertilized egg.
Composition
Each tablet contains:
- Drospirenone: 3 mg
- Ethinylestradiol: 30 mg
Contraindications
Radiance is contraindicated in patients with a history of deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, myocardial infarction, stroke, breast cancer, or endometrial cancer. It is also contraindicated in cases of severe liver disease, uncontrolled hypertension, and in women who smoke and are over 35 years old. The use of Radiance is not recommended during pregnancy or lactation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in women with risk factors for thrombosis, as well as in patients with a history of migraines. Regular medical monitoring is recommended during treatment. Any adverse effects or unusual symptoms that may occur during the use of the product should be reported to the doctor.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
