Indications
Pulmicort Turbuhaler is indicated for the treatment and prevention of asthma attacks in patients 6 years of age and older. It is also used in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and in asthma patients requiring maintenance corticosteroid treatment. This medication works by reducing airway inflammation, facilitating breathing, and improving patients' quality of life. It is important that the use of Pulmicort is part of a comprehensive treatment plan that includes non-pharmacological measures and appropriate medical follow-up.
Composition
Each dose of Pulmicort Turbuhaler contains 100 mcg of budesonide as the active ingredient. Excipients: lactose monohydrate, among others.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to budesonide or any component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with untreated pulmonary infections, as well as in those with severe systemic infections.
Precautions
It should be used with caution in patients with active tuberculosis, viral or fungal infections, and in those with a history of lung or heart disease. Regular medical follow-up is necessary to adjust the dosage according to the patient's clinical response. Prolonged use of corticosteroids can cause systemic adverse effects, so it is essential to use the lowest effective dose.

Store at room temperature, between 15 °C and 30 °C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
