Indications

Proctoglyvenol is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with hemorrhoids, such as itching, inflammation, and pain. This medication works by relieving inflammation and reducing pain in the affected area. It is useful for the treatment of internal and external hemorrhoids, providing an anesthetic and anti-inflammatory effect, which facilitates the relief of discomfort and improves the patient's quality of life. Administration of one suppository in the affected area is recommended, according to the treating physician's instructions.

Composition

Each Proctoglyvenol suppository contains 400 mg of Tribenoside and 5 mg of Lidocaine as active ingredients. Additionally, it includes excipients that facilitate the formulation and proper release of the components in the body.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in cases of acute anal or rectal infections, as well as in conditions where rectal application is inappropriate. Its use in pregnant women and during breastfeeding should be evaluated by a doctor.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of allergic reactions to local anesthetics. It is recommended not to use in case of rectal bleeding or if symptoms do not improve with treatment. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions and not exceed the recommended dose in the leaflet.
