Indications
Procto-Glyvenol is indicated in the treatment of internal and external hemorrhoids, as well as in the relief of associated symptoms such as pain, itching, and inflammation. It is also used in preparation for surgical interventions related to anal and rectal disorders, alleviating preoperative discomfort. Its combined action of tribenoside, which acts as a venotonic, and lidocaine, which provides a local anesthetic effect, allows for a rapid improvement in the quality of life of patients suffering from these conditions.
Composition
Each suppository contains 400 mg of tribenoside and 40 mg of lidocaine as active ingredients, in addition to excipients suitable for the suppository formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or to any of the excipients. It should not be used in cases of untreated anal or rectal infections, as well as in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to local anesthetics.
Precautions
It is recommended to use this medication with caution in patients with severe liver or kidney diseases. In case of adverse reactions, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. The recommended dose should not be exceeded, and the treatment duration indicated by the doctor should be followed.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
