Indications
Primoteston Depot is indicated for the treatment of male hypogonadism, a condition characterized by insufficient testosterone levels. This medication is used to relieve symptoms associated with this condition, such as fatigue, decreased libido, depression, and loss of muscle mass. Additionally, it can be used in cases of delayed puberty in males, as well as in certain forms of breast cancer in women, under strict medical supervision.
Composition
Each ampoule of Primoteston Depot contains 250 mg of testosterone as the active substance, dissolved in a suitable vehicle for intramuscular administration.
Contraindications
Primoteston Depot is contraindicated in patients with prostate or breast carcinoma in men, as well as in those with known hypersensitivity to testosterone or to any of the product's excipients. It should not be administered in cases of severe liver disease, kidney or heart failure, and in conditions that may be aggravated by the androgenic action of testosterone.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Primoteston Depot in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, or those with liver diseases. Regular medical monitoring is essential during treatment to evaluate testosterone levels and detect possible adverse effects.
Storage
Store Primoteston Depot at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep the product in its original packaging and out of the reach of children. Do not use the medication after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
