Indications

Prikul is indicated for the treatment of diabetic neuropathy, which is a type of nerve damage that can occur in people with diabetes. It is also used in the management of neuropathic pain associated with spinal cord injuries and for the treatment of generalized anxiety disorders. Additionally, it has been used as adjunctive treatment for partial epilepsy in adults.

Composition

Each Prikul capsule contains 75 mg of pregabalin as the active ingredient, along with excipients q.s.p. for the capsule formulation.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pregabalin or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is also contraindicated in patients with severe renal insufficiency, and in those undergoing hemodialysis.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of substance abuse. It is important to monitor patients for the possible emergence of suicidal thoughts and changes in mood. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before starting treatment. Abrupt discontinuation of treatment should also be avoided, as it may cause withdrawal symptoms.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
