Indications
Premarin is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with menopause, such as hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness. It is also used for the prophylaxis of postmenopausal osteoporosis in women with a high risk of fractures. Additionally, it can be prescribed for the treatment of vaginal and vulvar hypoplasia, as well as in cases of premature ovarian failure. This medication acts as hormone replacement therapy, helping to balance estrogen levels in the body.
Composition
Each Premarin tablet contains 0.625 mg of conjugated estrogens. Excipients: lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of breast cancer, venous thromboembolism, active liver disease, or undiagnosed vaginal bleeding. It should not be used in pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Premarin to women with a history of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, or conditions that predispose to thrombosis. Regular medical follow-up is recommended during treatment to assess the need to continue hormone therapy.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
