Indications
Prazolan is indicated for the treatment of diseases related to gastric hypersecretion. It is used in cases of gastroesophageal reflux esophagitis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, as well as in the eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics. In addition, it is effective in the prevention of gastric lesions induced by the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Composition
Each ampoule contains 40 mg of pantoprazole, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and administration.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pantoprazole or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe hepatic insufficiency, as well as in those with a history of severe allergic reactions to other medications of the same group.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver diseases, as well as in those who present warning symptoms such as involuntary weight loss, recurrent vomiting, or blood in stools. Prolonged use of pantoprazole may increase the risk of bone fractures and vitamin B12 deficiencies. It is important to maintain continuous medical monitoring during treatment.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children and direct light.
