Indications
Pranosine is indicated for the treatment of viral infections. It is useful in the management of herpes virus infections, including herpes simplex and herpes zoster. It has also been used in the treatment of human papillomavirus (HPV) infections and in conditions related to immunodeficiency. Inosine Pranobex has been observed to improve the body's immune response against various viral infections, promoting recovery and reducing the duration of symptoms.
Composition
Each 5 ml of Pranosine syrup contains 250 mg of Inosine Pranobex, as well as excipients that allow for product formulation.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to inosine pranobex or to any of the product's components. Its use is not recommended in patients with active or decompensated autoimmune diseases, as well as in those with severe renal insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of kidney disease, as the medication may accumulate in the body. Monitoring is important in patients with hematological disorders. The use of Pranosine must be supervised by a physician, and the physician should be informed of any concomitant treatment the patient is receiving.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.
