Indications
Postday 1.5 mg is indicated for emergency contraception. This medication is used to prevent an unwanted pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse or in case of contraceptive method failure. It is most effective when taken as soon as possible, preferably within 72 hours after sexual intercourse. However, it can be used up to 120 hours (5 days) after sexual intercourse. Its effectiveness decreases over time and it should not be used as a regular contraceptive method. Furthermore, it does not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
Composition
Each Postday tablet contains 1.5 mg of levonorgestrel as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for its formulation.
Contraindications
Postday is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to levonorgestrel or any of the product's excipients. It should not be used in women who are pregnant or suspect they are pregnant. Furthermore, it should be avoided in cases of vaginal bleeding of unknown origin.
Precautions
Medical follow-up is recommended if menstruation does not occur within three weeks after taking the medication. This medication should not be used as a regular method of contraception. Caution should be exercised in women with a history of thrombosis, hypertension, diabetes, or liver diseases. Its use is not recommended in women under 16 years of age without adequate medical advice.

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
