Indications
Postday is indicated for the prevention of pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse or in case of contraceptive method failure. Its use is effective if taken within 72 hours after intercourse. Levonorgestrel primarily acts by inhibiting or delaying ovulation, and may also alter sperm transport or fertilization. It is not effective if implantation of the fertilized egg has already occurred.
Composition
Each Postday tablet contains 0.75 mg of Levonorgestrel as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients such as starch, lactose, and other inactive components that facilitate tablet formulation.
Contraindications
Postday is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Levonorgestrel or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in women with confirmed or suspected pregnancy, as well as in cases of congenital anomalies of the female reproductive system.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in women with a history of venous or arterial thrombosis, breast cancer, or gynecological cancer. Postday is not recommended as a regular contraceptive method and does not replace regular contraceptive methods. It is important to consider that repeated use of this medication may affect the menstrual cycle and does not protect against sexually transmitted infections.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
