Indications
Plidan is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate pain, as well as in situations requiring an anti-inflammatory effect. This medication combines two active components: Pargeverine, an antispasmodic that helps relieve spasmodic pain, and Clonixinate Lysine, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that acts by blocking the synthesis of prostaglandins, responsible for inflammation and pain. Plidan is useful in cases of menstrual pain, renal colic, and pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions.
Composition
Each Plidan dragee contains: 10 mg Pargeverine and 125 mg Clonixinate Lysine. Excipients: Lactose, starch, magnesium stearate, and others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its components, active peptic ulcer, severe renal insufficiency, and in those with coagulation problems. Its use is not recommended in the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with heart disease, liver failure, or those undergoing treatment with anticoagulants. Medical follow-up is recommended in patients over 65 years of age or those with chronic diseases.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
