Indications
Pisacaina Spray is a local anesthetic indicated for the treatment of acute pain in minor procedures requiring local anesthesia. It is commonly used in dermatology for skin and mucous membrane anesthesia, as well as in minor surgical procedures such as the removal of skin lesions and biopsies. In addition, it can be useful in topical anesthesia prior to catheter insertion or in medical procedures that may cause discomfort or pain to the patient.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Pisacaina Spray contains: Lidocaine 10 g, excipients q.s. 100 ml.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to lidocaine or any other component of the formula. It should not be used in areas with severe infections or inflammations, nor in patients with coagulation disorders.
Precautions
Pisacaina Spray should be used with caution in patients with a history of seizures or heart disease. Special care should also be taken when using it in vulnerable populations, such as the elderly or patients with liver or kidney diseases. It is important to avoid application to large areas of the body or extensive mucous membranes to prevent systemic toxicity.
Storage
Store at room temperature, in a dry and cool place. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
