Indications
Pisacaina 2% with Epinephrine is indicated for local anesthesia in minor surgical and medically invasive procedures. It is used for analgesia in dental procedures, as well as in dermatological interventions and in regional anesthesia in various medical specialties. The combination of lidocaine with epinephrine prolongs the anesthetic effect and reduces bleeding in the application area, thereby improving the efficacy of the procedure. This medication is appropriate for patients requiring effective and long-lasting pain control during clinical interventions.
Composition
Each ml of solution contains: 20 mg of lidocaine and 0.005 mg of epinephrine. Excipients: water for injection, sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide to adjust pH.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to lidocaine, epinephrine, or any other component of the formulation. It should not be used in areas with infections, inflammation, or in patients with coagulation disorders. Likewise, its use should be avoided in patients with severe cardiovascular diseases or those being treated with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of seizures, liver or kidney diseases, as well as in those undergoing treatment with other medications that may interact with lidocaine or epinephrine. Administration should be performed by trained medical personnel, and the patient should be monitored for possible adverse reactions.

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Protect from light and keep out of reach of children.
