Indications
Pisacaine 2% is indicated for local anesthesia in minor surgical procedures, as well as in regional anesthesia, where pain control is required in specific areas of the body. Its use is common in dental procedures, infiltrations for minor surgery, and as an anesthetic in nerve blocks. In addition, it is used in sports medicine and rehabilitation for the management of acute and chronic pain, providing relief in conditions that require medical intervention.
Composition
Each ampoule of Pisacaine 2% contains: 200 mg of lidocaine, excipients q.s. 10 ml.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to lidocaine or other amide-type local anesthetics. It should not be administered in areas with infections, inflammation, or skin diseases that compromise the integrity of the skin. Its use in patients with cardiac conduction disorders or those who have recently received local anesthetics is also contraindicated.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular or liver diseases, or those undergoing anticoagulant treatment. In addition, intravenous administration of the product should be avoided. It is important to monitor vital signs during the application of the local anesthetic and to be alert for possible adverse reactions or complications, such as systemic toxicity.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
