Indications

Picot Plus is a medication indicated for the treatment of various conditions related to dyspepsia and gastrointestinal discomfort. It is used to relieve symptoms such as heartburn, indigestion, and flatulence. It can also be used for the management of mild to moderate pain, thanks to its analgesic component. It is especially useful in situations where there is a feeling of fullness, abdominal distension, or discomfort associated with food intake. Its use is recommended for adults and children over 12 years of age under medical supervision.

Composition

Each Picot Plus sachet contains: Calcium carbonate 2.48g, Magnesium hydroxide 1.94g, Simethicone 0.5g and Paracetamol 0.21g.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in people with severe kidney failure or those suffering from metabolic diseases that require restriction of calcium and magnesium intake. Likewise, its use should be avoided in combination with other antacids containing aluminum, due to possible interactions that could cause adverse effects.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using Picot Plus in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, such as intestinal obstruction or inflammatory bowel disease. Patients with liver diseases, as well as those who regularly consume alcohol, are advised to consult their doctor before using this product. Likewise, it is important to follow the dosage instructions and not exceed the recommended amount.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
