Indications

Pepto Bismol is a medication used for the temporary relief of gastrointestinal symptoms, such as:

  • Upset stomach
  • Nausea
  • Diarrhea
  • Indigestion
  • Heartburn

This medication works by coating the lining of the stomach and intestines, providing a protective effect and relieving irritation. It is particularly useful in episodes of acute diarrhea, including that caused by gastrointestinal infections, as well as in cases of discomfort due to the ingestion of spoiled or irritating foods.

Composition

Each 100 ml of Pepto Bismol Suspension contains:

  • Bismuth Subsalicylate: 1.75 g

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with:

  • Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula.
  • Active peptic ulcers.
  • Severe renal failure.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in the following cases:

  • Prolonged use of the medication without medical supervision.
  • In patients with a history of gastrointestinal problems or who are undergoing medical treatment.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
