Indications

Pepto Bismol Chewables are indicated for the treatment of diarrhea, upset stomach, indigestion, nausea, and heartburn. This medicine works by forming a protective layer over the stomach and intestinal lining, which helps relieve symptoms associated with gastrointestinal irritation. It can also be helpful in reducing inflammation and discomfort caused by mild gastrointestinal infections. It is important to follow the instructions for use and consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.

Composition

Each chewable tablet contains: 262 mg of bismuth subsalicylate.

Contraindications

This medicine is contraindicated in patients with a known allergy to bismuth subsalicylate or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in children under 12 years of age, as well as in people with gastrointestinal bleeding, peptic ulcers, or severe renal insufficiency. It should also be avoided in patients taking anticoagulants or who have a history of kidney disease.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of kidney disease, as prolonged use or high doses of this medicine may affect kidney function. Likewise, it is recommended to avoid the simultaneous use of other medicines that may irritate the gastrointestinal tract. It is essential not to exceed the recommended dose and to consult a doctor if in doubt. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using this medicine.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
