Indications
Pedialyte is an oral rehydration solution indicated for the prevention and treatment of dehydration caused by diarrhea, vomiting, or excessive sweating. This product is especially suitable for children and adults who show symptoms of mild to moderate dehydration. The formulation is designed to replenish lost fluids and electrolytes, helping to restore the body's fluid balance. Pedialyte can also be used in cases of high fever, intense exercise, or in situations where fluid intake is insufficient. Its use is recommended as part of a comprehensive treatment that includes adequate nutrition and medical supervision.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Pedialyte Sr60 contains:
- Glucose: 2.5 g
- Sodium chloride: 0.5 g
- Potassium chloride: 0.2 g
- Sodium citrate: 0.3 g
Contraindications
Pedialyte is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Caution should also be exercised in those with severe kidney disease or conditions that require restrictions on sodium or potassium intake. Its use is not recommended in cases of severe dehydration requiring intravenous treatment.
Precautions
A doctor should be consulted before starting treatment with Pedialyte in cases of metabolic or heart diseases, or in patients receiving other treatments that may interfere with electrolyte absorption. It is important to follow the healthcare professional's instructions regarding the dosage and duration of treatment.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from sunlight. Do not freeze. Once opened, the bottle must be refrigerated and consumed within a maximum of 48 hours.

- Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
