Indications

Pabesorag is indicated for the treatment of arterial hypertension in adults. This medication combines two antihypertensive agents: Irbesartan, which acts as an angiotensin II receptor antagonist, and Hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic. This combination allows for more effective blood pressure control, providing a complementary therapeutic approach. Additionally, it can be used in patients who have not responded adequately to monotherapy with either component.

Composition

Each tablet contains: 150 mg of Irbesartan and 12.5 mg of Hydrochlorothiazide, in addition to excipients necessary for the formulation of the medication.

Contraindications

Pabesorag is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the components of the formula, as well as in those with a history of angioedema associated with previous treatments with angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors or angiotensin II receptor blockers. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe renal insufficiency or in those who are being treated with potent diuretics without medical supervision.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver, kidney, or cardiovascular disease. Likewise, it is important to monitor renal function and electrolytes in patients treated with diuretics. During pregnancy and lactation, the use of Pabesorag should be evaluated and supervised by a physician.

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
