Indications
Omuro is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders that present with spasms, such as irritable bowel syndrome and functional dyspepsia. This medication acts as an antispasmodic, relieving symptoms associated with hyperactivity of the smooth muscle of the gastrointestinal tract. It is also useful in reducing abdominal cramps and in managing bladder hyperactivity. Its use is recommended in patients with spastic abdominal pain, improving the quality of life of patients affected by these conditions.
Composition
Each Omuro tablet contains 40 mg of Otilonium Bromide as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate the formulation of the medicine.
Contraindications
Omuro is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Otilonium Bromide or to any of the components of the formulation. It should not be used in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, or in those with intestinal obstruction. Likewise, its use should be avoided in patients with severe cardiovascular diseases.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Omuro to patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, as well as in those who have difficulty urinating. It is advisable to monitor patients with kidney or liver problems, as they may require a dose adjustment. In addition, interaction with other medications that may enhance its anticholinergic effects should be considered.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
