Indications

Nutracort 1% Cream is indicated for the treatment of various dermatological conditions that require the application of a corticosteroid. It is used for the relief of symptoms associated with dermatitis, including atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, and eczema. It can also be used for the treatment of inflammatory skin lesions that respond to corticosteroids, such as psoriasis and insect bites. The cream works by reducing inflammation, redness, and itching on the skin, providing an anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effect that helps improve the patient's quality of life.

Composition

Each 100g of cream contains: Hydrocortisone (1g). Excipients: purified water, cetyl alcohol, glycerin, glyceryl stearate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, and other excipients.

Contraindications

Nutracort 1% Cream is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to hydrocortisone or any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in skin infections, cutaneous tuberculosis, herpes simplex virus and other viral infections, as well as in skin lesions caused by fungi or bacteria.

Precautions

It is recommended to avoid application on extensive areas or open wounds. Prolonged use of topical corticosteroids can cause adverse effects such as skin atrophy, folliculitis, or contact dermatitis. Caution should be exercised in diabetic patients, as the use of corticosteroids can alter blood glucose levels. Additionally, it is not recommended for use in children under 2 years of age without medical supervision.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light and out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
