Indications
Numencial is indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders, as well as for the management of stress-related symptoms. The combination of Diazepam and Sulpiride allows addressing both anxiety and associated psychic disorders, offering a comprehensive approach to the treatment of these conditions. Furthermore, it can be useful in the management of somatic symptoms related to anxiety disorders, and in the reduction of agitation in patients with psychiatric disorders. This medication can also be used in the treatment of sleep disorders, although its use must be evaluated and supervised by a healthcare professional.
Composition
Each tablet contains:
Diazepam 50 mg
Sulpiride 2.5 mg
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in people with a history of substance abuse, myasthenia gravis, severe respiratory insufficiency, or in patients with severe depression with a risk of suicide. Furthermore, it should not be administered during pregnancy or breastfeeding, unless strictly necessary and under the supervision of a doctor.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver or kidney diseases, or in those who are receiving other medications that may interact with Diazepam or Sulpiride. This medication may cause drowsiness, so driving vehicles or operating heavy machinery should be avoided during its use. Additionally, it is essential to ensure that treatment is supervised by a qualified physician.
