Indications
Nulytely is indicated for bowel preparation before diagnostic procedures, such as colonoscopy. Its formulation allows for complete evacuation of intestinal contents, ensuring the bowel is clean and free of residue. It can also be used in cases of occasional or chronic constipation, facilitating bowel movements. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions regarding dosage and timing of administration to obtain the best results.
Composition
Each Nulytely sachet contains: Macrogol, Sodium, Potassium, and excipients necessary for its formulation. The combination of these substances acts as an osmotic agent, promoting fluid retention in the intestine, which facilitates evacuation.
Contraindications
Nulytely is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formulation. It should not be used in people with intestinal obstruction, severe inflammatory bowel disease, or intestinal perforation. Likewise, its use is not recommended in patients with severe heart or kidney problems.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Nulytely to patients with renal or cardiac insufficiency, as excessive use of osmotic solutions can alter electrolyte balance. Medical monitoring is essential in these types of patients. In addition, it is recommended to monitor the patient's hydration during treatment.
